Gladstone Residential Building of the Year 2017

Totalspan Australia is delighted to announce the annual award for the company’s Residential Building of the Year went to Gladstone Franchisee, Joseph Mclaren.
The award is judged on a number of criteria, including design, materials used, customer feedback and execution.
The Residential Building of the Year award was announced at Totalspan Australia’s national conference, which was held on Friday, 28th July 2017.
“We were really surprised by the outcome, but we have put a lot of work into ensuring our designs and builds are of a very high calibre.
“We pride ourselves on offering a great service to our customer base, and are passionate about ensuring we deliver an exceptional product,” said Mr McLaren.
According to Totalspan Australia’s General Manager, Richard Gray, Joseph and his team have shown “great initiative and a real commitment to servicing the needs of their local community”.
Mr Gray said Joseph and his Sales Manager, Alex Park, have produced some great results in terms of customer service, design and execution.
“Joey and Alex demonstrated deep understanding of design and competence in customisation,” explained Mr Gray.
Adam Zanhow from Totalspan Australia’s Research and Development team, who are part of the judging committee, agreed that Totalspan Gladstone’s entry was a stand out.
“We had some really impressive entries this year, however, Joey’s clever use of materials, complete with custom flashings and soft linings were most definitely a winner!” said Mr Zanhow.
The award winning residential building produced by Joey and his team was a single garage with garaport designed and built for customers located in Rockhampton.
“Essentially our customer wanted a building solution where he could provide additional undercover parking for his tenant, and also a place for the owner to safely store his caravan,” explained Joseph.
Joseph launched his Totalspan business 14-months ago and has built a solid reputation with their local community.
