Customer Specification and Building Brief
Gladstone couple Scott and Claire approached the Totalspan Gladstone team to build them a secure triple bay garage with garaport. This building was pretty special, as it would be the first to be erected on their brand new 2-acre block.
Design of the Building
Joey and his team designed a 16m x 9m x 3.6m portal building with a 4m garaport bay. This residential shed featured four 3m x 3m roller doors, custom windows, a personal access door and a solar whirly bird. To finish off the building, Scott and Claire selected colours Gull Grey and Basalt for the gutters, barges and roller doors.
Totalspan Gladstone’s owner, Joseph Mclauren, was proud of the overall design, specifically because it met the needs required by their customers.
“Scott and Claire had clear specifications for their building, and this was the first building that would be constructed on their new 2-acre block.
“This building is to be part of the family home, a place they intend on keeping for many years to come, so it was vitally important that we designed a shed that met their needs for now and for the future,” explained Joey.
Customer Feedback
Scott has served in the Australian Navy for over 23-years and told Joey that he was extremely impressed with both the design and overall finish of the custom designed shed.
“This building was extra special to Scott, because it would also be the place he would keep his dad’s custom-built car secure. I have to say, it was a pretty proud moment watching him drive one of his most prized possessions into the garage we had built for him,” said a delighted Joey.
